Dr. Meghan Gonick believes in the body’s natural ability to heal given the right conditions. However because we are each individuals our needs differ based on our genes, environment, biome (bacteria), stressors, and lifestyle. They seek to treat each person as the individual they are and tailor their treatment and recommendations for them. They uses their skills as a naturopath and acupuncturist to create and individual treatment plan using: herbs, personalized nutrition, supplements, and Traditional Chinese Medicine to enhance your health and wellbeing.

Dr. Gonick's Credentials

Meghan graduated summa cum laude from both the University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine and the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute. During their time at the University, they were a pioneer student in the schools Pathfinder Program, a mentorship program which provides advanced training in the fields of molecular systems biology and computational medicine, and was mentored by Dr. Peter D’Adamo.

They did their rotations at: University of Bridgeport clinics, the Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine, Sound Shore hospital (now Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital), Bridgeport's Chemical Abuse Services Agency Inc (CASA), AIDS Project Greater Danbury, and Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

Meghan won the University's first China travel scholarship, allowing a short internship in Shanghai China, assisting Dr. Yang in providing acupuncture, moxa, baguan, and other Traditional Chinese Medical treatments to patients, and receiving advanced clinical training, and the following semester received the Golden Needle Award for treatment of patients in the Clinic.

Post Graduation, Dr. Gonick was invited to continued their training with Dr. D’Adamo as a resident and teaching assistant in Generative Medicine, and served as President of the Institute of Naturopathic Generative Medicine. They joined the Center of Excellence as a staff physician and the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute as an adjunct professor and clinical supervisor.

Dr. Gonick currently teaches at the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute in addition to working at Generative Health LLC.
